Embassy of the Grand-Duchy of Luxembourg in Tokyo

Among the 12 floors of "the Luxembourg House" inaugurated on 2003, the Embassy occupies the ground floor. To symbolize the friendly relationship between Japan and Luxembourg, the designated architect office, Kenzo Tange Associates, applied a lot of natural materials such as wood, marble and glass to achieve a modern but welcoming atmosphere. The chancery harbors a functional space for exhibitions, conferences and receptions, and is used to promote the exchange of knowledge and art in its many different facets.
