Setagaya Literary Museum

Setagaya Literary Museum opened in 1995 with the basic philosophy of "preserving and passing on Setagaya's unique literary culture and contributing to the revitalization of community development" and "creating opportunities for cultural exchange among Setagaya residents and becoming a new center for local cultural creation.”

Since then, the museum has held a variety of activities in cooperation with the local community, such as markets and traveling exhibits, as well as holding special exhibitions across a wide range of fields, including manga, film, art, design, and music, with literature at the core.
