The Museum of Contemporary Art Tokyo opened in March 1995 with the aim of promoting contemporary art and enriching the foundation of art and culture. Utilizing its collection of approximately 5,500 works, the museum holds a wide range of exhibitions related to contemporary art, including paintings, sculptures, fashion, architecture, and design. It also has an art library with a total of 270,000 art-related books and materials, and conducts activities to disseminate art, such as workshops, various lectures, and lectures for the purpose of providing information and education on art. It is a space where visitors can experience firsthand the constant movement of contemporary art.
