Shadai Gallery, Tokyo Institute of Polytechnics

Founded in 1975 as the “creative frontline” of photography education, the gallery has held many unique exhibitions of famous photographers from overseas. Gallery talks held during exhibitions are not only for students but available to the public. In addition to exhibitions, the gallery collects valuable original prints for exhibition and research. Shadai Gallery is known not only in Japan but overseas for its unique approach.
