Okura Shukokan Museum of Fine Arts
Okura Shukokan is Japan’s first private museum, founded in 1917 by the father of Hotel Okura founder Kishichiro Okura Meiji era industrialist Kihachiro Otsuka. The collection consists of over 2000 works including paintings, sculptures, handicraft, and Noh costumes. Furthermore, the collection holds over 35,000 Chinese books.
