Kunitachi Honten

Kunitachi Honten is a bookstore & cafe hosted and operated by the National Design Center. It is the base of activity for the Chuo Line Design Club, and at the same time, it is a place that is open to the city and everyone interested in design.
It is a space for everyone that can be used in a variety of ways-sometimes as a bookstore selling mainly used books on architecture and design, sometimes as a café where you can drink delicious coffee, sometimes as a venue for small exhibitions, talks, and workshops, and sometimes as a meeting place and consultation counter for various design-related matters. It is a space for everyone. Through a variety of projects, we aim to create an environment where design can permeate the community and grow.
