Amuse Museum

Amuse Museum is a "live museum” that showcases uniquely Japanese virtues such as harmony, beauty and technology. It is located in Asakusa, a wonderful district of Tokyo where people of various nationalities gather from all over the world.
Japanese traditional culture is the source of unique graphics, product designs and textile arts.
Amuse Museum seeks to revive these precious ways of life and traditional craft values that even the Japanese themselves are starting to forget.
Occupying a newly renovated building that was first built 43 years ago, the spirit of Japan's good old prewar era still lingers here. Amuse Museum is an art facility for a general audience where you can feel and experience real Japanese culture through its many spaces, which include a Ukiyo-e theater, stages for live performances as well as exhibition galleries.
