Creation Gallery G8

G8
As part of its social contribution activities, Recruit Holdings Co., Ltd. operates two galleries in Ginza, Tokyo: Creation Gallery G8 and Guardian Garden. At Recruit Holdings, which provides information through media including magazines, the Internet, and mobile phones, visual expressions that support media, such as graphic design, illustration, and photography, are indispensable. Therefore, under the theme of visual communication, the Creation Gallery G8 holds special exhibitions focusing on graphic design, introducing Japan's leading creators and outstanding designs. In 2020, we also opened a small café, Cafe G8, next to the Creation Gallery G8. The exterior of the cafe, its logo, music, etc. will change regularly through the collaboration of creators.

Creation Gallery G8 was born in 1985 in the Ginza 7-chome Building as "G7 Gallery". In 1989, the gallery was moved to the first floor of the current Ginza 8-chome Building and renamed "Creation Gallery G8" after the design magazine "Creation" edited by Yusaku Kamekura. Through design, we aim to create a place where people can enrich their lives and have various encounters.
