Showa Kinen Park "Green Culture Zone"

The ‘Green Cultural Zone’ in Showa Memorial Park was opened in the fall of 2005 as a base for information and dissemination of "green culture" and as a place of exchange with citizens and related organizations involved in "green culture" in urban areas.

The park includes the Hanamidori Cultural Center, which integrates the functions of experience, exchange, and information dissemination, a rooftop garden that looks as if the surface of the earth has been lifted up, and a vast lawn area for resting, strolling, and light exercise, as well as for "green culture" related events and community exchange events.
