This exhibition explores the city of Florence as the foundation of Italian Renaissance art, and examines the source of its vitality to produce art. About 100 works of paintings on fresco, panel, and canvas, sculptures in relief, wood, and precious stones, metalwork in precious metals and bronze, illuminated manuscripts and miniature paintings, textiles, and scientific inventions by Renaissance masters will depict the variant and vibrant culture of Renaissance Florence.
