This exhibition introduces the charm of writers associated with Musashino, such as Doppo Kunikida who expressed natural beauty through poems, Tokutomi who practiced the life of an "esthetic farmer", Katai Tayama who introduced the suburbs as a healing place for city-dweller's , Masuji Ibuse who lived in the Shinkai ground of the suburbs, Dazaiosamu, and Shohei Ooka who gazed at land by a demobilized soldier's view-point.
