Noh Costumes from the Play "Takasago"

"Takasago" celebrates longevity and happy marriage, and has been one of the most popular Noh dramas since old times. Segments of the drama's lyrics are still favorite quotes at wedding parties today.
This exhibition will feature this Noh drama in celebration of the New Year. Examples of Noh mask and costume combinations for "Takasago" during the Edo period will be on display.
