Alphonse Mucha
Alphonse Maria Mucha (1860-1939) was perhaps the most defining artist of the Art Nouveau style. Also having worked in Vienna and Munich, he flourished in fin de siecle Paris. He showed great talent in posters, oil painting, pastel drawings, prints, sculptures and photography, creating many enchanting pieces.
240 pieces, of which 106 make their debut in Japan, are planned to be displayed in this exhibition. (OPEN on March 21(Monday), closed on March 22(Tuesday).)
