Grandma Moses
Grandma Moses only began painting seriously when she was in her seventies. Born in a small farming village, her life from childhood on was far from comfortable. Grandma Moses produced about 1,600 paintings of subjects such as happy memories from her early days and the changes of the seasons, before her death at the age of 101. The current exhibition will feature approximately 70 of her works and materials as well as introducing her life.
