Niki de Saint Phalle, a French-American, was born in 1930. She kept challenging new materials, while pursuing a life-long theme of self-reflection and wish for freedom.
The Niki Museum owns about 200 pieces of work by the artist. About 100 of them, centered around large sculptures, are on permanent exhibition.

Note:Open 9:30-16:00 November through January and March, 9:30-17:00 April through October. On a Public Holiday Wednesday, the museum is open but closed on the following Thursday. Closed for the month of February.
