Opening Exhibition At The New Gallery: Zai Shoku Ken Bi - Art & Money
This event has ended.
At Base Gallery
Media: Painting
Having been relocated to the financial district of Kabutocho, this exhibition tries to reveal the love-hate relationship between art and money. Sacred and pure-looking art and commonly used money seem antithetical at a glance. However, they can be the closest kin as they both are the created fiction. Art is only a piece of paper or canvas with some drawings on, and money is also just a piece of paper with established trust as valuable material. [More info on the show's website]
