*Due to the outbreak of the novel coronavirus, the Hakone Open-Air Museum will be temporarily closed Saturday, March 28 and Sunday, March 29.

The Picasso Pavilion, completely renovated for the 50th anniversary of the Hakone Open-Air Museum, is now open to the public. The collection features 319 works by Picasso with a focus on his ceramics. Through paintings, ceramics, sculptures, and other displays including quotes from Picasso himself, the exhibition “Picasso’s Challenge – Transforming Form” considers the Spanish master’s creative endeavors with shape. See the Picasso Collection in a new light in this new space.
