Kenji Iwasaki
Kenji Iwasaki was born in 1935. He graduated in design from the Tokyo National University of Fine Arts and Music in 1959. After working for Meiji Seika Kaisha,Ltd., he established Design-Eye in 1968. Awards received include Mainichi Advertising Award, Asahi Advertising Award, Japan Package Design Award. He is working at his office in Jingumae, Tokyo and his atelier in Chosen-cho, Shizuoka prefecture.
A series of big sign boards (H2m x W5m) called Daidogei Kanban placed outside his atelier have been seen by more than 10,000 people every year since 2001. The exhibition shows his latest Kanban "Peace 2005", and sculptures made by iron and bronze.
