In 1950, Charles M. Schultz started with his "Peanuts" newspaper comic series, covering the adventures of a dog, called Snoopy, and his friends. On October 2nd of this year, Snoopy turned 55. To celebrate this, Tokyo International Forum organizes the "Snoopy Life Design Exhibition" starting from November 19. The exhibition tries to shed a new light on the world view behind Peanuts and on Snoopy himself, and does this through a collection of artworks with the theme "Happiness is...". Nostalgic, but also innovative; intimate, but with an element of surprise - that is what Schultz' Peanuts, and also this exhibition, are all about.
