Prato is located in the center of the northern part of Tuscany in Italy and is just 15km apart from Florence. The City with a population of 180,000 has been known for plenty of art-historically significant architectures and art treasures ranging from the medieval time to the present.
This exhibition introduces around 60 art works created between the 14th and the 18th century. Those include important parts of a polyptych (an altar consisting of plural panel paintings) from late Gothic period, altar paintings from the Renaissance period, and portrait paintings from Baroque period. The stars of this exhibitions will be 3 masterpieces attributed to Filippo Lippi, a tuscan painter of the 15th century.
Closes at 20:00 on Fridays.
