While still in art school, Kiyoshi Kuroda was selected for the 11th and 15th Graphic Art competitions of the Hitotsubo Show. After completing graduate school, he gained experience at a design firm, and has been working independently as an illustrator and designer since 2003. He use plant, insect and animal motifs in his designs, and while rendering his subjects with arresting curves, his final products tend to be both venomous and cool in appearance.
In addition to the artist's standard two-dimensional works, this exhibition will also present a new facet with illustrations done over photographs.
