This exhibition is a celebration of the 1000th anniversary of the compilation of the anthology "Kokin Wakashu", and 800th anniversary of "New Kokin Wakashu". Calligraphy of both works, as well as other literary productions by the emperor will be on display to showcase the appeal of "waka".
