Artists

Hikari Akasa, Hana Akiyama, Takuto Endo, Yuji Okushi, Makoto Kanazawa, Hirotoshi Kimura, Aya Saito, Nui Takano, Taichi Tamaki, Daijiro Yano
Ten exhibitors whose portfolios have passed the first screening will each be exhibiting in a "hitotsubo" space, a Japanese measurement for a space of 3.3m (1.82m×1.82m). The first place winner chosen during this exhibition period will be given an opportunity to have a solo exhibition at the Guardian Garden in the following year.
The 25th competition is composed of many illustration works: a series using soft watercolor and pastel colors to depict children; an attempt to positively express "nothing" by spending idle time to its fullest; oil paintings on canvas based on digitally mastered photographs of animals. There are also creative works such as computer graphic comic stips capturing ideas rendered from everyday life.
From the 10 candidates, one will be awarded first place by five judges.
