Yuichi Takahashi, Naojiro Harada, Chu Asai, Shoen Uemura, Hogai Kano

The University Museum has collected material relating to the arts since its inception. While information regarding this material has been regularly released on paper media, it was also steadily accumulated into a database.
Database queries may yield relationships between works and artists unperceivable before its advent. New perspectives gained through this technology have contributed to great advances in research and art appreciation.
The focus of this exhibition will be on these newfound relationships. Masterpieces by artists such as Yuichi Takahashi, Naojiro Harada, Chu Asai, Shoen Uemura, and Hogai Kano will be on display, alongside works by Tokyo Art School professors, their colleagues, and other sketches, drafts, and studies.
