Yuki Aoyama
Yuki Aoyama suddenly decided to become a photographer on a trip to get to know himself better. One day, to deepen the communication between himself and the people he was taking portraits of, he began to jump and simultaneously hit the shutter. Aoyama found what he was looking for: the people's reaction was unexpectedly good, and the perspective created by the jump gave his pictures an original feel. After that, Aoyama switched the roles, with the model now jumping up. The 'freedom of perspective' he had felt when he jumped, had now become the 'freedom of the heart' for the model; a sense of escapist freedom.
"Sky-Jump Photos" have become Aoyama's trademark, and deserve more attention.
