Tom Sachs "McDonald's"

Tomio Koyama Gallery Roppongi
Finished

Artists

Tom Sachs
Tom Sachs' art pieces can be described as sort of "handmade pieces from ready-made goods". For instance, his toilet bowl piece is made of Prada logos stitched together and his "McDonald's value-set" is wrapped in an Hermes orange paper. Those crafty looking art pieces are shaped with amateurish details.
McDonalds and Hermes are very familiar brands nowadays and his art is created by mixing up those totally different yet very recognizable images.
On display at Tomio Koyama Gallery this time will be his McDonalds booth and 10 other unpublished art pieces.
