Yasushi Noguchi
While still in art school, Yasushi Noguchi entered the Hitotsubo's 3rd photography competition ('94). However, the piece he submitted, in which he had not only used photography but also added some graphic work, was rejected. The jury had raised the interesting question of whether it still qualified as a photograph.
Nowadays, Noguchi has also expanded his reach to videos and installations.
In this exhibition, his work on display explores the relationship between people and urban spaces.
