Koichiro Shimauchi
Celebrating the publication of his photo album, Koichiro Shimauchi, known for his dramatic and artistic wedding pictures, is holding an exhibition at Spiral. By purposefully placing the couple outside of the wedding hall, amidst the hustle and bustle, the "bridal pic revolutionary", as Shimauchi is sometimes called, is able to add a certain fashion feel to his work. That is also why his photographs are more than just wedding pictures; they are a record of the times.
