In cooperation with the artist, Taguchi Fine Art, Ltd. will publish a portfolio titled "Kalpa", containing 5 paper works with real lotus leaves embedded in it, and with texts excerpts from the Bible and Buddhist scriptures.
All texts were printed in letterpress at the Kazui Press, Ltd., and the wooden box was produced by Top Art Kamakura. A limited edition of 5 copies plus 2 Artist Proofs. Each work is unique. The title "Kalpa" (Okkou in Japanese), from words by the famous Buddhist priest Shuhomyocho, means eternity.
The portfolio "Kalpa" and the wooden sculpture "sweet rain" will be on display.
