This exhibition will introduce the beautiful different fashion styles found on the Silk Road from ancient times to present day. The history of the Silk Road is one of colorful exchange, which can be seen in things such as Uzbek suzanni (traditional embroidery), silk carpets from the town of Hiwa and jewelry from Turkey. Since the 1990s, fashion designers have sought to channel the artistic spirit of central Asia into their creations. Fashion on the Silk Road today is a fusion of traditional culture and modern art.
