"Hungry and Hopeless People Cannot Share the Same Values and Goals of Those Living in Peace and Comfort"
Through his work, Henk Visch materializes human condition and a multifarious array of emotions. With his distinct sense in form, he creates sculptures that are striking in humor and wit, and at times slightly disturbing. His works in bronze are devoid of the medium’s characteristic weight, but rather, gives the viewer a newfound sense of lightness. Following his solo show last year, Wako Works of Art will present Visch’s installation of a small white kite which takes on the theme of the “modern man,” and some recent drawings.
Reception for the artist will be held on Friday, September 30th, 6-8pm.
