Chiba City Museum of Art
Finished

Artists

Frédéric Moser, Philippe Schwinger, Shahryar Nashat, Silvie Fleury, Fabrice Gygi, Ugo Rondinone
The Chiba City Museum of Art, in close collaboration with Mamco, the Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art in Geneva, introduces the vibrant Swiss contemporary art scene to the Japanese public. The exhibition presents the works of six artists, some already known in Japan, others exhibiting there for the first time. Focusing on diverse aspects of Swiss art in the 21st century, this exhibition will challenge the stereotypes of Switzerland as a country of mountains, cheese and watches.
