Tatsuoki Nambata et al.
Tatsuoki Nambata was born in Hokkaido on July 13th, 1905. After meeting poet and sculptor Kotaro Takamura by chance, Nambata got interested in art, and decided he wanted to become a painter. After World War II, Nambata started creating very strict, abstract drawings, but later on switched to a more stimulating, colorful style.
This exhibition is held on the centennial anniversary of his birth.
