The National Museum of Modern Art, Tokyo
Finished

Artists

Tsuguharu Foujita
One of the leading painters of the Ecole de Paris, Tsuguharu Foujita (1886-1968) created elegant nude paintings which fascinating "milky-white" skin tones continue to fascinate people even today. In commemoration of the 120th anniversary of his birth, this retrospective presents about 100 important works spanning Foujita's entire career from collections at home and abroad, providing a full view of his art that has tended to get overlooked behind a veil of legends.
