"This is the first one-person exhibition by photographer Emi Anrakuji, organized in conjunction with the publication of her photography book "HMMT?" She won the Albion Art Museum Photography Contest with the above work in 2003.
Anrakuji suddenly appeared in the photography scene after more than 10 years of hiatus from art-making. She began to photograph seriously from 1998. Mixture of various elements - eroticism, humor, cruelty, strange peacefulness, sharpness, and magical tricks - characterizes her work.
