Pop Art, one of last century's most impressive art styles, was born in England in the mid-1950s, influencing not only art, but also the music and fashion of the times. "Swinging London" became the cultural center of the world in the decade thereafter, a position it arguably still maintains. Up to the present date, London is still an inspirational haven to many.
Since it was established in the 1970s, Nishimura Gallery has continued to focus on British art, building up an exuberant collection. Twenty prints by six artists such as Richard Hamilton give an overview of 30 years of British art.
