Mayekawa Kunio
This exhibition celebrates the 100th anniversary of the birth of master architect Kunio Maekawa (1905-86). Blueprints, sketches and photograph panels of his masterpieces will be displayed. Maekawa, apprenticed to French architect Le Corbusier, played a major role in founding Japan's modern architecture world. He designed the Tokyo Bunka Kaikan and the Kyoto Kaikan, among many other prestigious buildings.
