This show is presenting works developed from last year's solo exhibition "Hollow Earth Theory II". It is not an exaggeration to say that almost everything in the present human condition is undergoing both a physical and spiritual process of hollowing-out: the hollowing out of cities, the hollowing-out of nation states, of structure, of language and so on. The hollowing out of the spirit is, through the body, manifesting itself in a visible physical form. Caught in this phenomenon, an overall feeling of nihilism has begun to spread, and with that, society is slipping into decline. If we are to slow down this process of hollowing out, even if only a little, shouldn't we at least be aware of it in order to slow it down, even if only a little? This exhibit has been made with that question in mind.
