Minako Abe generates photographic images on her computer and then copies them onto a canvas. Abundant colours are then added to the landscape.
Abe states that the act of painting is a way of assuring herself of her existence. This is her very first solo show.
There will be an opening ceremony on May 26th 18:00-.

Reviews
There is no doubt that artist Minako Abe’s paintings of broad mountain-scapes and soft rolling fields were a welcome sight to tired Tokyo eyes. But it is her colors that ultimately reach out to absorb us.
