Tanabata Exhibition

In conjunction with the Tanabata Festival being held in Shonan and Hiratsuka, this exhibition introduces visitors to the traditions of the festival. There will be artworks and explanatory panels revealing the history, legends and customs of the festival as it is in each region of Japan, and a display of approximately 30 works of Japanese and Western painting from the museum's collection, based on the theme of summer.
