Cao Fei
Continuing to make bold works using Cosplay motifs, Cao Fei has, among other projects, taken part in international biennials. Together with a documentary film, this exhibition will present her new works, “Un-Cosplayers”, which she created out of the performance that was held this spring at B.T.A.P., Tokyo Gallery's art space in Beijing. Seeing her work in this exhibition offers viewers a great opportunity to feel the momentum of contemporary China and the big influence that Japanese Cosplay culture is having on young people within that society.
