NHK's "Sunday Museum" is a pioneering arts program with almost 1500 episodes being aired since its inception in 1976. Each episode features various guests who offer provocative commentary, leading the program to gain much popularity among art-lovers over the years. In 2006, NHK is celebrating the 30th anniversary of this program with a commemorative exhibition.
The exhibition shows selected works that have been featured in the program in the past, as well as footage of past shows, a making-of documentary and other features.
