Katsuzhi Matsumoto
Illustrator Katsuzhi Matsumoto(1904~1986)was one of the defining artists of the Showa period. His comical mangas, especially Kurumi-chan, were an instant hit, and he is *the* founder of Japanese character goods.
To commemorate the 20th anniversary of his death, Matsumoto's mangas, animations, character goods will be on display, recreating the cute 'kawaii' culture of the Showa period.
