This exhibition compares the colours and forms in chair design with the ones we can see in artworks. In doing so, it is hoped that visitors will be able to see the points in common between design and art, as well as its differences. While chairs are built to be sat on, for this exhibition viewers are invited to look at them solely as art objects, perhaps offering them a new perspective on these familiar everyday objects.
