This exhibition is a collaborative display of work by Takatsugu Yamauchi and the Niko Niko Tool Shop. Takatsugu Yamauchi is a contemporary painter and is currently showing in the 4th floor corridor at the Tokyo Opera City Art Gallery until December 24th. The Niko Niko Hall Tool Shop has been selling unique old tools for thirty years in Kokubunji and is locally known as an unusual shop for the area in which it is situated.

This exhibition has not been organized in the way that a museum would organize an exhibition so as to highlight a concept or the quality of something. Rather, it has been organized so as to present the diversity of value to be found in things that are interesting, boring, buyable, terrible, lovely, and so on.

On Friday 1st December, there will be a talk show by Takatsugu Yamauchi, Norihito Nakatani and Yasuo Nagajima, who published "Niko Niko News".
