Is it possible to turn a sketch into a work, or to make a design directly into a space? Front is a design unit of four women who graduated from the Industrial Design Department of Konstfack, the University College of Arts, Crafts and Design in Stockholm, and since then have exhibited at the Milano Salone and worked on the interiors of the Sweden Art Center and the Tensta Konsthall. In this open studio, they will document drawing the outline of furniture in the air and turn it into a film. At Miami Art Basel there will be a display of sketches that have been made into real furniture using motion capture technology.
