Born in 1976 in Kanagawa Prefecture, Midori Harima graduated from the Western painting and printing department of Joshibi Art University in 2000. She is currently included in the "10 Year Founding Anniversary Exhibition: The Child" at the Toyota Municipal Museum of Art, where her work has been well received and has become increasingly in demand since. This solo exhibition - her third at Gallery Jin - has been titled "Free Fall", and displays her sculptures of skinned animals (made out of black and white photocopies) and installation-type sculptures hanging from fishing line attached to canvases.
The opening reception is being held on Saturday 22nd April, from 17:00 to 19:00
