This event has ended.

This is an exhibition of works made by Nara City's Puppet Workshop "Tomo" under the supervision of Haruyuki Morishige. The heads and bodies of these beautiful puppets are painstakingly made from glue and chalk and they are dressed in silks made from the late Edo period to the mid 1920s. No two works are the same. It is hoped that visitors will take this chance to come and see the purity of these dolls' facial expressions.
