Hundertwasser Exhibition

Musée d'Art Mercian Karuizawa
Finished

Artists

Friedensreich Hundertwasser
This is an exhibition of Friedensreich Hundertwasser (1928 - 2000, Austria), whose work explores the relationship between man and nature. Along with painting, he has been involved in rubbish incineration projects and designed buildings in Austria, such as the hot springs village in Styria. Hundertwasser has come to embody the social school of thought that in order to protect the environment, one must design the environment around us.
With this exhibition, viewers can come to consider what role artists are playing in the environment.
