Kazo Saito
This retrospective will display a selection of 120 works by Kazo Saito (1887-1955).
Saito was a musical composer, theatrical designer, and stage director, who is also well known for introducing German expressionism to Japan. Having experience with both European expressionism and 'general art' that crosses the boundaries of art genres, he offered a fresh perspective for the analysis of contemporary Japanese culture.
